And the winter seemed to be over! The forecast for
Sunday & into next week is promising snow over the
Pennines. As ever, if it does fall, expect the tows to be
running. Keep checking this site & the answer machine

There's been a little overnight rain but there is still
enough snow to ski, albeit a bit wet. The tows will run
from about 10:30.
Saturday 10th February 2007
Lots of
Snow!!
Very good
skiing today on about 10 - 12 cms of fresh snow. A bit
windy but the snow continued all day & there is still
a good covering. Rain is forecast overnight, but it may
still be OK for skiing on Sunday. If it is, the tows will
be running.
We'll

The Sport
England grant for a much larger hut - a "Chalet"
- at the bottom of the
tows has been confirmed. We've got planning permission but
the area is too wet to build on so I'm afraid we'll have
wait until Spring before it can be built.
With
everyone's support, this will be the first of a number of
improvements we would like to make.
